The Parkinson's Foundation
The Parkinson’s Foundation is funding an international research initiative, PD GENEration, offering genetic testing and counseling services at no cost to people living with Parkinson’s Disease. Participants both receive their own individual genetic results as well as contribute to advancing understanding of the biological factors behind Parkinson’s Disease. With the identification of genetic variants linked to PD, clinical trial access can be accelerated and research support increased for the development of personalized treatments.e.

Since it's launch in 2010, the Michael J. Fox Foundation's PPMI landmark study is entering a new stage and has updated it's name to match... formerly known as Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative is now called Parkinson's Precision Medicine Initiative. After tracking Parkinson's over the past 15 years across tens of thousands of participants, this study is now transitioning to unlocking a more personalized approach to PD treatment and care.
