My Story
Steve, PhD is a biomedical engineer and integral member of the Mobility Specialists innovation team, helping bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology, movement science, and evidence-based clinical practice. With a doctorate in biomedical engineering, Steve plays a critical role in advancing how rehabilitation is assessed, delivered, and optimized.

His research centers on how the nervous system integrates sensory information to maintain balance during walking across the lifespan—including younger adults, older adults, and individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. This deep understanding of neuromechanics allows Steve to translate complex data into actionable clinical insights that directly enhance patient care.

Steve brings extensive experience with advanced rehabilitation and research technologies, including motion capture systems, force plates, EMG, vestibular assessment, simulation models, and virtual reality. By integrating these tools into clinical workflows, he helps drive precision-based assessment, objective progress tracking, and smarter intervention strategies.
