MARY RYAN
MS OTR/L
Occupational Therapist, Parkinson's Disease Specialist
My Story
Mary, OTR/L is an occupational therapist and valued member of the Mobility Specialists Parkinson’s care team, dedicated to empowering individuals living with Parkinson’s disease to move, engage, and live with confidence. Her commitment to specialized neurological care began when a client’s new diagnosis inspired her to pursue LSVT BIG® certification and deepen her impact through evidence-based, movement-driven intervention.

As Mary integrated these strategies into her practice, she witnessed meaningful improvements in mobility, independence, confidence, and quality of life—reinforcing her belief that innovative, intentional care can change outcomes. This experience became the foundation for her continued focus on Parkinson’s-specific rehabilitation.

Mary has since expanded her expertise through PWR! Moves® certification, ongoing professional education, and active involvement in community outreach for senior and Parkinson’s support groups. She also participates annually in the Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s, reflecting her commitment to advocacy, education, and connection beyond the clinic.

As part of the Mobility Specialists team, Mary contributes to a collaborative, forward-thinking model of care that blends clinical expertise, innovation, and long-term movement strategies. She is passionate about supporting individuals across the Parkinson’s continuum—helping them not only manage symptoms, but maintain independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys singing in her parish choir, long walks and hikes, hosting small gatherings, crafting, cooking for friends, reading, and spending time with her family.
